Submit A Post

   Posted by: admin   in General

Welcome! Thanks for your interest in submitting a post on our blog!

For all submissions, please contact us through our contact us page. Either post your content or tell us what you are interested in posting. When submitting, please give your full name and contact information.

As in our conferences and events, we want to include a variety of voices on our blog. To this end, we are currently looking for the following types of submissions.

Articles, photographs, stories, and poems relating to your experience at The Kilns, at Oxbridge, or at another of the C.S. Lewis Foundation events. These generally should be 700 words or less.

Brief, original articles on Lewis and his works from a scholarly perspective. These should be less than 1100 words and should be targeted toward a general audience as opposed to our online journal In Pursuit of Truth, which is aimed toward an academic audience.

News stories and event/book announcements that are relevant to C.S. Lewis or the mission of the C.S. Lewis Foundation. Please also submit the full URL and source if it is already posted in another location. Please note that we encourage the promotion of events and books, but only those specifically related to C.S. Lewis and the mission of the C.S. Lewis Foundation.

Book reviews of new books about C.S. Lewis, his works, or the Inklings. Books about Lewis, his works, and the Inklings come out regularly.  If you have read one and would like to give your informed opinion on the book, we would love to hear your critical perspective.

We will also accept some non-original content if you have an article/essay/blog post for which you own the rights and would like to adapt it for use on our blog.

Have another idea? Run it by us.

Please realize that although we seek to be inclusive in what we choose to post, we will not be able to post all submissions we receive for reasons of content, tone, and/or style not fitting with our mission and the purposes/audience of the blog.
