Lodging Rates – Hotel UMass
NOTE: the special rate below is available until June 27, 2016. After that, the rates will be full hotel rates.
The following room rate is per room, per night (not per person). It includes lodging for each night reserved. Wifi is complimentary as is parking for one vehicle per room.
Parking per additional vehicle is available at a discounted conference rate of $5 per day (passes can be picked up at event check in; payment will be made to the parking attendant at the parking garage upon exit each day)
Note: if you are attending the Early Arrival Track Sessions on Friday morning and afternoon, please be aware that you may stay on Thursday evening for your convenience. Conference group rates are available 3 days prior to and 3 days after the conference (note: if you wish to stay after the event, please contact Hotel UMass directly by phone).

Optional activities
On Saturday, July 9th, from 12 noon to 2 p.m we will be holding an optional Faculty Forum Luncheon during the main lunchtime. There will be a special speaker for the luncheon, on a topic focused on higher education, but the luncheon is open to all. There is a $15 charge for the catered meal.
We are also offering an optional trip to the scenic Pioneer Valley town of Northfield, Massachusetts, birthplace of Dwight L. Moody, on Saturday from 2:25 – 6:15 p.m. There will be tours of the birthplace of D.L. Moody and a reception at the “Green Pastures” home, site of our newest C.S. Lewis Study Center. Transportation and refreshments will be provided.

Policies
- Online Registration for tuition/meals (to the C.S. Lewis Foundation) requires payment in full.
- Refunds
- Tuition & Meals (C.S. Lewis Foundation): $50 of the tuition is non-refundable. The remainder of the tuition is refundable if registration is cancelled by 6/2/2016. After 6/2/2016, 100% of the tuition fee is non-refundable.
- Room (Hotel UMass): Cancellations made prior to 24 hours of the event will receive a full refund. Guests cancelling after 24 hours of the event will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
- Photography/filming policy: by registering for the event, you give your consent to be filmed/photographed during the event for potential use for archival, fundraising, marketing, and promotional productions of the C.S. Lewis Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. If you would like to opt-out, please email us at selmore at cslewis.org and provide us with a note and a headshot photo of yourself so that we don’t inadvertently use your image.
Regional Attractions
Amherst and the surrounding area is host to several points of interest including historic sites, museums, libraries, shops, and the town center. You will have free time on on Saturday afternoon to explore on your own.
