3rd Annual Southwest Regional C.S. Lewis Retreat
Camp Allen Retreat and Conference Center
Navasota, Texas
Nov. 18 - 20, 2005
"Aslan on the Move: Narnia Revisited"

The conference begins mid-afternoon on Friday, November 18th, with Check-In and Registration. After supper, which will be served by the Camp Allen staff, Paul Ford and Louis Markos will present their introductory remarks. On Saturday morning, each speaker will present their first full session, with ample time for questions and answers, interspersed with a break for refreshments and an inspiring offering from the realm of the arts.
There will be ample free time on Saturday afternoon to enjoy the many outdoor activities available at Camp Allen. Later in the day, Louis Markos will present his second full session, followed by a panel discussion with the speakers. Following dinner on Saturday evening, C. S. Lewis Foundation President Stan Mattson will report briefly on the recent and future activities of the Foundation, followed by a splendid evening of cinema with "C.S. Lewis: Beyond Narnia".
Sunday morning features the last plenary session with Paul Ford, followed by the closing service of worship. A generous lunch will be served, allowing time enough for a leisurely drive home in the afternoon.
You'll want to bring your guitar, banjo, mandolin, string bass, oboe or any other instrument with you, not to mention an original poem or two for reading, as our late-night gathering at the "Bag-End Cafe" (named for a certain famous Hobbit's home) will offer a sure-fire opportunity to share music, readings, and merriment of all sorts in the company of friends.
