The C.S. Lewis foundation’s Writers Workshop is featuring two tracks: one for fiction writers and one for nonfiction writers. The nonfiction track (focusing on devotionals, journals, memoirs, family histories, and church projects) will be led by Frank Ball

Learn how to target your message to an audience who begs to hear what you have to say.

Session 2 : Writing Devotionals - Frank Ball,
Use your life experiences to touch others so they can be encouraged, trust God, and rise above their problems.

Session 3 : Getting Inside an Editor’s Head -  Terry Glaspey

Session 4 : Writing Memoirs - Frank Ball,
Glean ten important steps that will transform mundane memoirs and family histories into exciting adventure stories.

Session 5 : Writing From The Right Perspective - Frank Ball,
Explore the crucial aspects of “point of view,” “show, don’t tell,” and “active voice” that are necessary to transform correct grammar into great writing.

Session 6 : Cut and Polish - Frank Ball,
As a general rule, around 80 percent of the time required to produce a good manuscript is rewrite and editing. Learn how to speed the process of taking first draft to final copy, ready for submission.
