Lewis was rather apathetic about what would happen to his estate when he died. His reason, surprisingly enough, was that he thought that his fame had run its course. \u201cAfter I\u2019ve been dead for five years,\u201d he told his lawyer, \u201cno one will read anything I\u2019ve written.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">For all his insight and prescience, Lewis\u2019s prediction turned out to be wildly inaccurate. His influence has only grown since he passed away, and he is one of the most recognizable Christian authors in the world. After fifty years, his books have sold in the millions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><a href=\"http:\/\/religion.blogs.cnn.com\/2010\/12\/17\/surprised-by-c-s-lewis-why-his-popularity-endures\/\"><span style=\"color: blue;\">CNN has posted a blog recounting this phenomenon<\/span><\/a>, as Lewis is again in the news due to the recent releasing of <em>The Voyage of the Dawn Treader <\/em>movie.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">For a similar story (albeit somewhat dated), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.christianitytoday.com\/ct\/2005\/december\/9.28.html\"><span style=\"color: blue;\">refer to the article entitled \u201cC.S.
