Dillon, Photo Courtesy of Thomas Aquinas College<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Dear friends&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>It is with a keen sense of loss that we announce that <strong>Dr. Thomas E. Dillon<\/strong>, beloved President of Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula, California, died Wednesday, April 15th, in an auto accident in Ireland.  Tom ably and faithfully guided the College through 18 years of growth and remarkable campus development.  In those years, many hundreds of faithful and well-prepared graduates have gone on to ministry in the Church, in their families, in academia, other professions, the arts, and more.<\/p>\n<p>The C.S. Lewis Foundation has special reason to remember Tom with great gratitude.  Under his approval and with his active participation, Thomas Aquinas College has been extremely helpful to the Foundation&#8217;s developmental planning for the future C.S. Lewis College.  For all these reasons, while we mourn Tom&#8217;s passing, we also celebrate the excellence of the life he lived before his God.<\/p>\n<p>Our prayers are with his family, with the faculty, staff, and students of Thomas Aquinas College, and with all the alumni of the College who treasure the impact that Tom had upon their lives.<\/p>\n<p>Gayne Anacker<br \/>\nVice President,<br \/>\nC.S.
