2025 C.S.L. Summer Institute – Half Conference Option

HALF CONFERENCE OPTION

Please note that registration for the event is for tuition and included meals only (see cslewis.org/programs/si for details) and does not include transportation, nonincluded meals, or lodging.

Half Conference registrants have the option to choose which half of the conference they would like to attend:

• First Half – Thursday evening 24th July – Monday noon 27th July

  • 3 morning sessions with six speakers, worship, 3 artistic “whimsies”
  • 2 dinners are included (Friday/Saturday)
  • 1 afternoon session of lectures on Lewis’s family and relationship to the city of Belfast
  • 4 evening sessions including opening reception, Friday ceili (dance), Saturday ensemble performance, and Sunday dance/song performance.
  • Afternoon seminars are not included as they take place as a single “course” for the entire conference for full conference guests

• Second Half – Sunday evening 27th July – Wednesday evening 30th July

  • Check in for this option begins Sunday afternoon 27 July. We’ll announce the exact time and location.
  • 3 morning sessions with six speakers, worship, 3 artistic “whimsies”
  • 2 dinners are included (Monday/Tuesday)
  • 4 evening sessions including closing reception, Sunday dance/song performance, Monday theatrical performance/documentary showing, and Tuesday hymn sing.
  • Afternoon seminars are not included as they take place as a single “course” for the entire conference for full conference guests

• Please note that this does not include the afternoon seminars

YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER FOR YOUR HOUSING SEPARATELY at a separate cost through our lodging partners or a hotel of your choice (more info to come!).

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The C.S. Lewis Foundation is pleased to present the 2025 C.S. Lewis Summer Institute in Belfast, Northern Ireland, for the first time in our 36 year history.

Join us in July 2025 in Northern Ireland where C.S. Lewis returned throughout his life to be inspired and refreshed. Together, we will explore our theme through lectures from leading scholars, the transfiguring power of the arts, the wonder of worship, and the gift of newfound friendships.
