Hannah Flowers<\/strong> is a professional harpist and traditional singer. She fell in love with the harp as a young child and was classically trained before discovering Irish music in her teens. Since then she has had the opportunity to travel to Ireland yearly over the past decade to study harp with Gr\u00e1inne Hambly, Michelle Mulcahy, and Michael Rooney.<\/p>

She competed internationally at Fleadh Cheoil na \u00c9ireann in Sligo, Ireland in 2014. In 2016 Hannah was awarded a Next Step Fund Grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council to study ancient Gaelic harp in Kilkenny, Ireland. The following year she received a Gaeltacht Summer Award from Fulbright Commission to study the Irish language. In 2020, she was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship and Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship to pursue an MA in Irish Traditional Music at Maynooth University in Ireland. Following the completion of her degree in Ireland,<\/p>

Hannah released her second full-length album Hall-Gate House in September 2022. The album features solo sets of traditional Irish tunes as well as songs in English and Irish accompanied by guitarist D\u00e1ith\u00ed Sproule. Apart from being an active performer on lever harp and as a singer, Hannah is a sought after harp and song teacher privately and at the Center for Irish Music, a non-profit community music school dedicated to handing down the tradition.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
