HOUSING:
Call the Hilton Post Oak at 1-713-961-9300 to make your reservations or register online. If calling, mention that you are registering for the C.S. Lewis Fall Conference on Nov. 8-10. On-site Registration

New registrations will be accepted on-site, but will not include break refreshments or meals.

To help us prepare an accurate count for seating, please email us in advance at selmore@cslewis.org to let us know you will be attending and for which sessions.

You may pay by check, credit card, or cash. (if paying in cash, please bring exact change).

On-site registration will be available the following days and times:

Friday, November 8

  • 8:00 – 11:00 a.m.
  • 3:30 – 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, November 9

  • 8:30 – 9:00 a.m.
  • 6:15 – 7:00 p.m.

Sunday, November 10

  • 8:30 – 9:00 a.m.

Costs

Main Conference Registration
(Friday 7 p.m. – Sunday 12 p.m.)

Registration includes tuition for main conference (Fri evening through Sunday noon), Friday evening dessert reception, and Saturday evening catered dinner. Registration does not include housing  parking, or other meals.

Single Day / Session Options

Online registration is now clsoed. Tickets are available for the following options on-site. No meals will be included.

  • Friday whole day ($160) – includes Track Sessions (choice of Writers Track or Inklings 101 Track), Max McLean’s performance of “The Weight of Glory,” book launch of Malcolm Guite’s new book, and Bag End Cafe (after hours “open mic” gathering)*
  • Friday Evening ($35) – includes Max McLean’s performance of “The Weight of Glory,” book launch of Malcolm Guite’s new book, and Bag End Cafe (after hours “open mic” gathering)*
  • Saturday whole day ($200) – includes Saturday plenary sessions, breakout sessions, evening performances by Malcolm Guite and Ad Deum Dance Company, and Bag End Cafe*

*Registration does not include lodging, parking, or other meals not listed above.

Parking – Hotel

The Hilton Post Oak will charge registered guests reduced self-parking costs of $7 per night, with unlimited in/out privileges. Commuters will be charged $7 per day, with no in/out privileges. Parking will be paid on-site at the parking facility.


Internet – Hotel

The Hilton Post Oak will include complimentary internet access in guest rooms for those lodging at the hotel.


Cancellation Policy – C.S. Lewis Foundation

Registrations may be cancelled until October 3, 2013 minus $50, which is nonrefundable. After this date, no refunds will be accepted.


Financial aid

Financial aid is available, but limited. Please send a resume/c.v. and a letter explaining the following to info@cslewis.org by October 1, 2013: 1) why you wish to attend, 2) what you hope to gain from your attendance, and 3) why you need financial aid to attend. Your materials will be reviewed by the scholarship committee, who will select the recipients from the pool of applicants. Financial aid will be awarded by October 15th.
