Special Post-Conference Optional Cambridge Tour

Led by Anthony Amor

Not quite ready to go home after the Summer Institute?

Come join Anthony Amor for a couple of days (August 5 & 6) in Cambridge to visit this more pastoral, secluded, and quieter (and some say more beautiful) university town where C.S. Lewis taught. There is no charge for this optional add-on. You will just have to make your own travel and lodging arrangements.

And as your tour guide, there is no fee and no expectation of tips (although they are always appreciated). — Anthony

I plan on going to these sites and would love to have you join me:

  • Walk and/or punt along “the Backs” on the river Cam
  • Magdalene College
  • St. Mary’s, the University Church
  • King’s College Chapel
  • Walk to Grantchester
  • Girton College
  • Mill Lane Lecture Hall
  • Trinity College
  • The Pickerell Inn
  • and many more sites!

The walking tour with Anthony will start the afternoon on August 5th in Cambridge to give you plenty of time to get there and check-in to your lodging. The tour will last through the evening of August 6th. More details and an itinerary will come in June.

To sign up, please click here. The number of tour guests is limited at this point to 15.

Disclaimer: this walking tour is offered as a completely optional gathering of friends which takes place after the 2022 C.S. Lewis Summer Institute. The C.S. Lewis Foundation and Anthony Amor are not responsible for the contents, details, itinerary, or any issues or problems which may occur in the course of travel or while attendees are touring with Mr. Amor. The tour is a free tour. Any associated costs for travel, meals, and lodging are not covered by the registration fees of the C.S. Lewis Summer institute.
