Crystal Hurd

On the subject of: C.S. Lewis’s Family Background in Belfast

Crystal Hurd is an educator and researcher in Virginia. Over the past decade, she has read and researched both biographical and rhetorical aspects of C.S Lewis, fully endorsing his integration of faith and intellect. She has particularly done work on C.S. Lewis’s parents and grandparents and on his narrative poem Dymer. She serves as Visiting Faculty for the Northwind Theological Seminary’s program on Romantic Theology and Inklings Studies. Hurd’s interests include C.S. Lewis, spirituality, apologetics, and leadership theory. Her dissertation applied transformational leadership theory to the life and works of Lewis. She is currently researching the role of artists as leaders.
