Emily Key serves as Assistant Director for the Vocatio Center for Life Calling and Career at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. In addition, Emily is stepping into a new role with the C.S. Lewis Study Center (CSLSC) as the Communications Assistant for Dr. Mary Pomroy Key. Emily is excited to delve deeper into the meaningful work of hospitality, dialogue, and the exploration of ideas that she has seen her parents model for years in their work at CSLSC.
Raised with the air of Narnia and Middle-Earth in her lungs, Emily enjoys revisiting those beloved places often and finds great enjoyment in beckoning others into the questions of faith, life, and meaning sparked by Lewis and Tolkien. In the early years of Emily’s career, she dabbled in theatrics at CBU, acting in several productions, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Fiddler on the Roof, concluding her CBU theater career at age 11 in The Great Divorce under the direction of Frank Mihelich. Emily is grateful to be revisiting some old roots by participating in the production of The Major and the Missionary under the direction of Frank once again.
