Tom McConnell is a Northern-Irish singer/songwriter, worship leader and loop artist whose sound blends vintage soul, and folk-like vocals. Tom is the former lead guitarist with the Dove Award-nominated Citizens, and he served as Worship Pastor in two London churches (St James Muswell Hill and St Mark’s, Battersea) from 2014-2020. Tom has taken his songs to refugee camps and prisons, and collaborated with a world champion beatboxer to give a performance in London’s Royal Albert Hall. Tom is delighted to be contributing to this year’s Summer Institute in his home city of Belfast.
